For all other consumers, for example, for a very powerful instantaneous water heater, it is necessary to calculate the cross-section of the conductor depending on the current strength. The PUE (Electrical Installation Rules) contains a table linking the values of these two parameters. That is, they first calculate what current will flow, based on the power of the consumer, choose with a certain margin the cross-section of the wire or cable core, after which they acquire an automatic switch to protect this section of the electrical circuit.
